The foundation and chief cornerstone of Christianity is the resurrection from the dead by its founder.  Christianity is not just another religion; it is the only hope of living past our imminent deaths.  Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day conquering death, hell and the grave.  And because He arose - we that have accepted Him as our Savior and our Lord can rise also.  Jesus didn't purchase our salvation with just being born of a virgin, nor was it complete by living a sinless life.  Our salvation was won in its completeness when Jesus took up His body again.  The Father won us back to Him by giving us a Savior that loved us enough that He would die for us and a victorious Savior strong enough to conquer the penalty of sin!  We should thank Him every day for the love that He has shown us and the power which He alone can wield.  Our eternal souls can find peace forever when we place our hand in the hand of the Savior.

We are going to celebrate our 10th anniversary this coming month!  It doesn't seem possible but during the summer of 2000 we started having prayer meetings which lead to the formation of this church.  Scores of souls have been won these last ten years and we are looking forward to what God is going to do in our midst in the future.  After the services that Sunday morning we are going to go over to the fellowship hall and have refreshments.
